It’s been a long 12 weeks for my Biggest Loser participants, and today is the day for final measurements. How did they do?

Mark D- lost 54 lbs and 8.5% body fat!!

Andrew H- lost 33 lbs and 9% body fat!!

Jim B- lost 35 lbs and 6% body fat!!

Wendy C- lost 17 lbs and 4.5% body fat!!

Total pounds lost by 10 participants= 186.5

Bottom line: Put in the hard work, stay consistent with your workouts, and follow the nutritional advice given, and BAM!! The pounds will literally melt off.

One of the biggest excuses for not exercising or eating healthy is lack of time. NEWSFLASH: Time is not the issue. First, it comes down to priorities. We make time for things in life that we value. If you find yourself saying you don’t have time to exercise or prepare healthy meals, then you are essentially saying you do not value your health or how your body looks.

But, let’s say that juggling a full-time job and a few kids leaves you little time to be a full-blown chef. Well, this meal was whipped up in only 4 minutes, and packs more nutrition than most people get all day.

Pictured below is some wild salmon, pecans, strawberries, and for a nice supplement boost, a few fish oil pills.

Sure, it’s not fancy, nor does it taste as good as a tub of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream (Oh, how I do love me some ice cream), but this meal is packed with tons of good-for-you nutrients and will help keep your body fat levels in check.
