One of the biggest excuses for not exercising or eating healthy is lack of time. NEWSFLASH: Time is not the issue. First, it comes down to priorities. We make time for things in life that we value. If you find yourself saying you don’t have time to exercise or prepare healthy meals, then you are essentially saying you do not value your health or how your body looks.

But, let’s say that juggling a full-time job and a few kids leaves you little time to be a full-blown chef. Well, this meal was whipped up in only 4 minutes, and packs more nutrition than most people get all day.

Pictured below is some wild salmon, pecans, strawberries, and for a nice supplement boost, a few fish oil pills.

Sure, it’s not fancy, nor does it taste as good as a tub of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream (Oh, how I do love me some ice cream), but this meal is packed with tons of good-for-you nutrients and will help keep your body fat levels in check.

We all want a higher metabolism and every fitness guru throws the word around, yet very few actually define it. If I were to ask you what metabolism means, could you tell me? Here’s a typical response: “It’s that thing that skinny people have and I don’t. Skinny people have a high metabolism and can eat whatever they want, yet I even look at a cookie and I gain two pounds.”

What if you too could rev up your metabolism and be one of those people who could eat whatever you wanted (within reason, of course)? The good news is that you can, it just takes some changes to make it possible.
